You are an experienced lawyer with a relevant qualification or equivalent experience, specializing in adult social care matters. You possess a strong working knowledge of the law related to local government and are well-versed in public law and governance. You are skilled in Court of Protection work, mental capacity, mental health, and general issues under the Care Act. You exhibit leadership qualities and are comfortable with ambiguity and operating within a complex legal environment.
What the Job Involves
As a Lawyer at Legal Services Lincolnshire, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality legal services to the County Council and external partners. Your responsibilities will include providing comprehensive legal advice, managing a complex caseload, supporting the County Council's Monitoring Officer, and leading on high-profile matters. You will work collaboratively with partners and clients, providing expert guidance to meet legal and service delivery goals. Additionally, you will role model organizational values, foster relationships with stakeholders, and continuously seek improvements and efficiency in service provision.
