Children’s Social Care is seeking an experienced minute taker to join their Business Support Service. The ideal candidate will have proven clerical experience, be a team player, and possess the ability to work under pressure within set timeframes. Strong word processing skills and a proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Word are essential. You should have previous experience in formal minute-taking with the ability to produce clear and concise notes. Adaptability and flexibility, along with the ability to handle sensitive information, are crucial.
What the Job Involves
This role involves providing administrative support to the Cared for Teams and Young Persons Team. Key responsibilities include minute-taking in Strategy and other professional meetings, managing correspondence, filing, collating reports and records, and carrying out reception duties. You will also be expected to serve as a liaison within Social Care and other agencies, requiring excellent communication skills. Additional duties include managing mail and telephone calls, participating in supervision sessions and training, and adapting to work at various Children’s Services sites if required.
