You are an experienced administrator who has worked with senior-level staff, demonstrating exceptional organization, planning, and time management skills. You excel in verbal and written communication, working autonomously to manage competing deadlines while producing high-quality work, including accurate and timely meeting minutes. You can interpret data in various formats and use your initiative to consult with senior managers for decision-making. You are resilient, able to handle confidential and potentially distressing information in a high-pressure environment, and ideally, you have experience with complex spreadsheets and public sector work.

What the job involves

The Embedded Senior Coordinator provides a self-directed, proactive, and confidential administrative and professional support service to the Assistant Director (Adult Operations) and senior managers within the Adult Social Care Directorate. Key responsibilities include arranging meetings and panels, setting agendas, recording minutes, diary management, and handling various administrative tasks such as managing spreadsheets, data, and orders. You will develop effective communication with internal and external partners and manage low-level recruitment activities. The role requires adherence to data protection regulations and supporting the Assistant Director and Senior Managers with any required administrative workstreams. The role involves mainly remote work but requires travel for meetings.
