Who You Are

You are an experienced driver with a background in safely operating minibuses, accessible vehicles, and coaches, especially within inner city areas. You possess good interpersonal skills and have experience working with individuals who require assistance with mobility and personal care needs. You are knowledgeable about the local geography, and possibly speak a language other than English. What the Job Involves

This role involves driving passenger-carrying vehicles, including minibuses and Council vehicles, to transport passengers and commodities safely and efficiently. You'll adhere to schedules, perform safety checks, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and ensure all safety standards and regulations are met. Additionally, you will act as a passenger assistant when required, aiding passengers with special needs and ensuring their safe and respectful delivery to destinations. You'll also handle documentation, participate in training, and report any incidents promptly.
