Who You Are

The ideal candidate is someone looking to develop and gain valuable experience at a senior officer level. You should be capable of starting immediately and committed to working within the Bookings and Emergency Accommodation Team for a three-month secondment.

What the Job Involves

This position involves assessing the accommodation needs of homeless applicants. You will be responsible for undertaking procedures required to book customers into emergency, self-contained temporary, and permanent accommodation. The role requires ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and adhering to guidance governing the suitability of accommodation alongside Council policies, procedures, and targets.
