  • Managing the highway frontline teams, including direct and subcontracting labor.
  • Promoting and ensuring good health and safety practices within the team.
  • Building accurate cost schemes and managing budgets effectively.
  • Coordinating the highway fleet, and managing resources daily.
  • Ensuring standby rotas are completed and supervising out-of-hours operations.
  • Seeking innovative solutions to enhance highway operations.
  • Managing team development, performance, and recruitment processes.
  • Collaborating with clients and promoting council values effectively.
