Who You Are
You are a driven and experienced Advanced Social Work Practitioner with significant post-qualification experience in statutory childcare settings. You are registered with the Social Work England (SWE) and hold a recognized social work qualification. You thrive in fast-paced, front-line environments, adept at working with complex, diverse cases and collaborating with a range of internal and external partners to deliver the best outcomes for children and families.
What the Job Involves
This role involves taking a lead role in safeguarding, child protection, and managing high-level risks within Wirral’s Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). You will be responsible for the daily allocation and oversight of MASH referrals, providing direction, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies. In addition, you will influence strategic development, support and mentor colleagues, and lead projects aimed at service development. As a MASH Advanced Social Worker, you ensure that all social work practices involving safeguarding and children’s social care interventions are of the highest possible standards, meeting legal and organisational requirements.
