Who You Are
A qualified Occupational Therapist with extensive experience in social care. You are adept in conducting comprehensive OT assessments compliant with the Care Act for adults aged 18 and over with disabilities. You demonstrate sound clinical reasoning skills and have expertise in prescribing both simple and complex equipment, including undertaking risk and Manual Handling assessments.
What the Job Involves
The role involves conducting Care Act compliant assessments for adults with disabilities, prescribing necessary equipment, and conducting risk and manual handling assessments. You will have an in-depth understanding of major adaptation criteria and the ability to recommend and refer for major adaptations, including the facilitation of Disabled Facilities Grants.
