As an Experienced Social Worker, you are a committed professional with a demonstrated level of practice and continuous professional development. You have a wide-ranging expertise in social work, community care, and safeguarding, and are known for your ability to manage complex cases independently. You are registered with the Health and Care Professional Council (HCPC) and uphold the standards of conduct, performance, and ethics in your work. Your background includes significant experience in adults' community social work, safeguarding, mental capacity assessments, and support planning.
What the job involves
This role requires you to carry a caseload and undertake a range of community care and safeguarding assessments, including complex cases. You will ensure the duty of care for adults and children, offering expert opinions within the organization. Your tasks include providing critical support to individuals, families, and carers, liaising with various departments and agencies, maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and giving evidence in court when necessary. You will also support the manager with caseload allocation and provide supervision and guidance to less experienced staff.
