What the job involves
This role is part of the property and accommodation structure at West Sussex County Council, where you will collaborate with partners to find appropriate housing for refugee and migrant families. Your responsibilities include securing residential accommodation, overcoming housing barriers, and preventing premature accommodation terminations. You will work directly with these families to support their relocation, form working relationships with estate agents and landlords, and ensure that families avoid temporary accommodations. The role involves extensive travel across the county and requires regular communication in English with the public.
