What the Job Involves

This role is part of the Transforming Care Team, working with adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism. You will carry out statutory social work duties such as assessments, reviews, care and support planning, and safeguarding adults work. The position promotes agile working with access to technology for improved work/life balance. You will partake in a career progression scheme with regular supervision and ongoing training and development. Your work will contribute significantly to multidisciplinary services that focus on individuals, fostering stronger communities.

Skills

  • At least two years post-qualification experience
  • Experience with mental health, learning disability, and/or autism
  • Understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and Best Interests
  • Knowledge of Court of Protection applications and deprivation of liberty work
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use technology for flexible working
  • Commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion
